More Than a Reading List

At AuthorVale, we believe discovering a book can be the beginning of something meaningful.

It might introduce you to a new author, change how you see something, or lead you into a story you never expected to love.

The AuthorVale Book Club was created to make those discoveries easier.

Through reading challenges, Goodreads activities, curated recommendations, and opportunities to explore authors and their work, we want to create a space where books are discovered, discussed, and appreciated.

For readers, it is an opportunity to find their next meaningful read.

For authors, it is an opportunity to help the right readers encounter their work.

Because book discovery should be about more than getting a title in front of someone. It should be about helping readers find books they genuinely want to explore.

A place for authors, too

Your Book Deserves the Chance to Be Discovered

Writing a book takes time, care, and commitment. But even after publication, finding the readers who will appreciate that work can be difficult.

The AuthorVale Book Club creates opportunities to introduce books to a community built around reading and discovery.

Depending on the activities available, authors may have opportunities to:

  • Be considered for a book spotlight.

  • Introduce their books to interested readers.

  • Participate in suitable author features or discussions.

  • Help readers discover more about their work.

  • Become part of a wider conversation around books and reading.

Our focus is on relevant discovery and genuine reader interest not guaranteed sales, manufactured reviews, or empty exposure.

Every book will not suit every reader. Our goal is to help create meaningful opportunities for the right books to reach the right audiences.

Clarity Backed by Expertise

  • The AuthorVale Book Club is a book discovery community that brings readers and authors together through reading challenges, Goodreads activities, thoughtful recommendations, and opportunities to explore books and the people behind them.

Our goal is to help readers discover books they may love while giving authors opportunities to introduce their work to relevant audiences.

  • Not at all. The Book Club is for both readers and authors. Readers can discover books, participate in reading activities, and explore new authors. Authors can introduce their books for consideration in suitable features and book discovery activities.

  • Yes. Joining the AuthorVale Book Club is free. If any optional paid opportunities are introduced in the future, their costs and terms will be clearly explained before anyone commits.

  • Simply complete the reader signup form with your name, email address, and reading interests. You can then look forward to updates about reading challenges, book recommendations, Goodreads activities, and other Book Club opportunities.

  • Yes. Authors are welcome to introduce their books through the author interest form. Share your book's title, genre, and a link to its page if available. We'll consider submissions for relevant spotlights, author features, and other suitable discovery opportunities.

  • No. Submitting your book allows us to consider it for future opportunities, but it does not guarantee a feature. We aim to consider relevance to our community, the type of activity, and the interests of participating readers.
